1. Service Description

LabGPT is an AI-powered tool that helps you understand your lab results in plain English. You upload your lab report (PDF or image), and our AI analyzes the biomarkers and provides educational explanations of what each result means, including normal ranges and general context.

3. User Responsibilities

When using LabGPT, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information and only upload your own lab results (or those you are legally authorized to access).
• Use the service for personal, educational purposes only — not for commercial medical purposes.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or misuse the service.
• Not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Understand that AI-generated explanations may contain inaccuracies and should be verified with a healthcare professional.

4. Account Terms

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Payment and Subscription Terms

• Free Plan: The free plan includes limited uploads per month at no cost. Free plan features may change at any time.
• Pro Plan: The Pro plan is a recurring subscription billed monthly or annually. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days notice.
• Billing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: We offer a full refund within the first 7 days of your Pro subscription. After that, no refunds are issued for the remaining billing period.

6. Intellectual Property

• Our Content: The LabGPT website, brand, design, code, biomarker library, educational content, and AI analysis engine are owned by LabGPT and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
• Your Content: You retain ownership of any lab results or data you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service.
• AI-Generated Results: The AI-generated explanations provided to you are for your personal use. You may share them with your healthcare provider.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LabGPT and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
• Any medical decisions made based on information provided by LabGPT.
• Any inaccuracies or errors in AI-generated explanations.
• Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss.
• Unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain security.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of LabGPT is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to LabGPT at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, fraudulent activity, or any other conduct we deem harmful to the service or other users.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@labgpt.ai. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of LabGPT after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of LabGPT shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
